It’s a bump on the road for them. At least for now. It’s far too early to measure any meaning to it. This is just a rant blog, by somebody who wants to see Intel down.
I’m not an Intel user myself, I use AMD, but I don’t hate them, because they’ve set the standard for decades now and everyone tried to measure up to Intel. Intel surely deserves a lot of respect for setting the pace in micro processor design. Anyone who tries to reduce this or tries to discredit Intel isn’t right in their head. It also ignores the performance results Intel achieves when compared to AMD, which is still on-par or even better than AMD.

Read up on the latest Intel news. It’s far more than a bump on the road. They’re desperate. They’ve been sitting around on their dominant position for far too long and are now getting beaten to a pulp by AMD because of it.
Performance improvements they gain by cutting every corner there is. Resulting in almost monthly critical security vulnerability discoveries regarding Intel CPUs now. That, and abusing their monopoly position through illegal backroom deals.

My next processor will be AMD. Intel’s future pc processors looks meh, and recent presentation of pc processor was just a huuuge fail. All good things must come to an end as someone wise said, looks like this “good” thing will be Intel dominance on pc processor market.
Still Intel have so much money they can buy a lot of emerging technologies in AI and find some luck there, like with this self driving vehicle technology.
