Also: today I learned of structural color in plants…
These berries are metal blue in color and extremely reflective, and they do it by manipulating light passing through the structure of their skin, rather than absorbing/reflecting light through pigments based on electron absorbtion. Since their shiny blue is a structural property of the skin, these berries never fade or change color as there’s nothing to dry out, rot or decay.

So complicated. The meatberry science is so sophisticated that I can’t even grok. I’m unfamiliar with the chemicals used in the video as well.
The only thing I remember from biology class is: “Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.”

There was also video about someone making spider silk using yeast, I mean it was actually engineering yeast to use dna developed by someone from scratch to use in production of strains of spider silk proteins, but I thought its too complicated for LAGL. This was somewhat easier to digest.
