EVE Fact: Did you know that when travelling back and forth between Amarr and Jita, if you set destination with shortest route setting, it’ll now take you through a low-sec system that was laid down on the route somewhat recently and its gates from inside are constantly smartbombed?

We have self-proclaimed Cardinals in EVE, we also have a Pope in EVE, but I can’t keep wondering if there are 5 and 6-Star Generals in EVE?

Timezone.

EDIT:
Hey I love your Titan, what do you do for a living?

The big wigs who control the huge corporation/alliance fleets when two alliances go to war could be considered x-star generals, I guess.

'Tis a lesson you should heed–
Try again;
If at first you don’t succeed,
Try again.
Then your courage should appear;
For if you will persevere,
You will conquer, never fear,
Try again.

Once or twice though you should fail,
If you would at last prevail,
Try again.
If we strive, 'tis no disgrace
Though we did not win the race–
What should you do in that case?
Try again.

If you find your task is hard.
Try again;
Time will bring you your reward,
Try again;
All that other folk can do,
Why with patience should not you?
Only keep this rule in view,
Try again

Things are not always as they first seem

Today I had the chance to visit a net cafe after 11 or 12 years. They had somewhat high end machines or they’ve placed me on an older spec machine than the other ones. I installed EVE on a computer there and the frame rates were amazing. The monitor was probably TN panel since the visuals didn’t look as great as on an IPS panel. There were many other games pre-installed on the machines as well.

Its like a relic of a bygone age here.

Since 2001 people here have known the joys of a home internet and they embraced it in their daily lives, with mobile phones, and smartphones eventually taking over every last bit of internet everywhere, to their pockets, to their bathrooms, to their tents under the pure sky…

World have changed.

I hope they depict The Beyonder in the way they did in 90’s Spider-Man animated series.

BTW, if you like marvel comic books, there is a lot of them here. There are all kinds of them there to be honest.

I won’t pretend to know what that was about, but hey, more power to them? That public looked enthused…

(Meanwhile I can hear rain falling over my city. We’re not going to end the drought, but it’s nice to see some rain eventually. Nighties lovelies!

Also: if you trip and fall, stand up again. And again. And again…

Is there a way to download them into epub,pdf or mobi so I can read on an e-reader?

I dont know of such method unfortunately. In the browser I have, Opera, there is an option to save the page as PDF tho. Entire page. That means all images in it as they are visible on the page, with everything on top and on the bottom of the page as visible in browser. If there are too much borders on the sides, I can zoom in the page, so images fill the width more on sides. It works good then as PDF for reading on mobile.

Guess again.

…and it’s actually a robot you could buy or build yourself:

They’re built-to-order in about four week for some 12,000 $. The videos i linked were about deep learning software being developed for an existing humanoid robot with a few custom twitches, like the soft, brush-like bumpers rather than the default ones. Guess that they do it to minimize damage as the poor machine falls over and over again in the real orld while applying what was learned on simulation.
