He was also in Pulp Fiction, I do like the roles he played.

Superconductor acts as a strong diamagnet too. Plus it really shows flux pinning, when it want to stay in place above the magnet. :slightly_smiling_face:
So it looks like Type-II superconductor - Wikipedia
Because they behave like that.
I wait and see what else they will show.

It’s been a long time since anyone has seen this video.

Maybe they have superconductors in New Eden as well?

They do, I produce them also.

Reminded me of an alleged superconductor under a microscope. Only, it isn’t…

“Mad Mike” or the The Poor Man’s rocket.

What surprises me is he wanted to go up there make sure the earth was flat or round…

It’s very bad when your life depends on a parachute opening at the right time.

When did we become grown ups?

Personally I became a grown up around 7 years old when I had to have bloody fights against other kids for my 4 o’clock snacks at the orphanage. Or was it at 6 when I got abused for first time at night, same place… Maybe it was at 8, when I witnessed a girl drowning at the pool and couldn’t do anything but alert the watch and by that time she was dead. Yeah, check out the DDASS in France. That was where we all forcibly had to grow up before our time.

I don’t think so. The fact of having two legs don’t qualify someone for work and taxes is the legal tool of thieves, nothing to do with fish except that it’s fishy.

So dolphins can catch us in their fishnets? No thank you.

You’re never too old to jump into a ball pit, do what makes you happy!
That’s what I always say.

that is how it works

Also I have theory that our brains never become fully adult. Because we can learn so much and our minds are so elastic, we have evolutionary successes because of it. In fast changing world we need to learn new things fast, even when old.

People with no talent who call themselves “actors/tress” and “writers” ( activists really ) and get more than $1100 a day ( some get up to 3 million and others $20,000,000 per project ) say they are not getting paid enough.
The studios are bidding their time so they can cancel/end those ridiculously expensive contracts for overpaid “actors/tresses”.
One striker even said, over a loudspeaker, that they’re paid “slave wages”.
LOL, with that kind of revenues they can “enslave” me anytime.
Maybe they should’ve refrained from insulting fans, the very people who permit the studios to pay those jokers.

Well, getting paid 1100 $ a day for 35 days a year is not that much, specially in the USA. As with everything there are the big fishes who want a larger slice of the pie, and the smaller fishes who barely earn a living even after getting lucky. Scriptwiritng is a difficult job were the best chance of earning a living is by being a ghostwriter hired regularly to perform minor tasks on somebody else’s projects.

It’s not “I have this script and it’s lightning in a bottle, buy it!” but “give me 2 weeks and I’ll get you something as workable and reliable as my previous comisions, understanding that it might not be produced until next year or never, and even if it goes into production you might hire someone else for the production scripting so I will only get the initial fee”.

(And that’s for entertainment business. Many scriptwriters spend their time writing scripts for corporate videos and such, working 9 to 5 in video production companies, same as many illustrators work doing stuff like “20 web buttons and a banner by Tuesday”)
