I was informing them about selling $500 for marriage,
but, I was then informed to sell everything (the $4,300),
so as to get more liquid assets than before,
instead of the $1,000 per weeks, biweekly or so…
From $40 to $50 a share to $300 in 2 days to 3 days,
= at $4,000 times 100 shares x 7 or x6 =
$24,000 - $4,000 =
$18,000 profit in 3 days of the week,
from Tuesday to Thursday and get Monday and Friday off for some reason…
Time to share something interesting and go to sleep. Nighties lovelies!
Also: this is the sound of a rover on Mars…
In the raw file there’s a electronic buzz of origin still unknown, might be from the second microphone aboard the rover or whatever else. Sound heard here travels through the rover’s structure, not the atmosphere properly.

I posted it before, but,
can’t find it back again yet.
du·ress
/d(y)o͝oˈres/
noun
threats, violence, constraints, or other action brought to bear on someone to do something against their will or better judgment.
“confessions extracted under duress”
LAW
constraint illegally exercised to force someone to perform an act.
ARCHAIC
forcible restraint or imprisonment.
–
That enforcement is synonymous with Duress shouldn’t be the case, as the cases shouldn’t be about Duress,
or, trying to justify Duress, past Duress, current Duress, nor future Duress.
In many and most aspect, Duress itself is not legal and not enforcement.
No system can enforce Duress without the person under Duress actually causing it to themselves, either by seeking to forfeit other’s rights,
or by being reckless as to how the behavior of others is being mislead into seeking to forfeit the rights of others.
You can’t make forfeiture of rights illegal, unless there is a need for it, because of abuse from powers to do so.
It would occur when enforcement is abusive, and,
seeks to abuse others with Duress, rather then to solve the Undue Duress problems.
Undue Duress, use of Undue Force, and all kinds of other things which are not due and not owed,
and intended to be used to collect money,
to abuse others mentally, and alienate them of their rights,
while seeking to forfeit their property also is not something that you can wish others to be mislead into that kind of a pit as did Cain a long time ago, either when hunting for prey, or by some other accident he may have caused, or, sought to cause deliberately, while the other one couldn’t get the game, nor wind power or health from the game, the game being the prey, and the game being the animal being trapped and hunted.
The same, you can’t use code illegally to take it out of context and seek to abuse other people, by taking it out of context.
When there are cases, they have to be brought up equitably, not with Duress.
Apparently (and so far) doubling the daily dose of the drug I take to try and slow my heartbeat hasn’t had any side effect, thus tomorrow i’ll start testing my blood pressure and heart rate to see what are the actual effects. Anyway today it’s been a pleasant day and I feel relaxed before going to bed… so I say: nighties lovelies!
There’s a reading speed test, I’m scoring around 350 words per minute, not bad since I am not speedreading (rather reading at my usual book reading pace) and the samples are in English, which I process a bit slower than Spanish.
Congrats Yiole! I think the key to reading faster is not to vocalize, don’t you agree?
You read 154 words in 31.66 seconds. Your recorded speed for this passage was 292 words per minute. It will take you 6 hours and 16 minutes to read Grave Peril.
I’m a slow reader when I read consciously. Maybe it is because I visualize the words and concepts I read.
When Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix book first came out translated into Turkish, I bought the book and started reading it next morning at 7 AM and only took breaks for food, water and the loo. When I went to bed at 11 PM, I had read 450-500 pages of the 1114 paged book in a day. When I closed my eyes I saw pages and random sentences from the book floating in my mind’s eye.
I would love to read as fast as this guy:
Sometimes I have fleeting thoughts, suspecting whether this is true or not:
Well, I never vocalised whle reading (or maybe did, but was very young, my parents exposed me to the concept of reading at age 4 and soon I was reading on my own). One key to read fast it’s practice, as we read the brain and eye optimize how many letters can be seen without moving the eye to the next word(s), children start with just one-two letters and experienced readers might see up to 9 letters at once. Thus a experienced reader might read “experience” with the same time and effort a child reads “be”. Also with experience the brain learns to “predict” which letters follow the first ones, thus skipping over the word without actually deciphering all letters. The experienced brain reads “const??le” and knows it’s “constable” without reading the b and l.
I used to read a lot before having a computer, there was a time when I went to the library each 10 days to borrow 3 books at once… as a child I would read some 70-90 books a year, plus monthly magazines, and all that practice hasn’t faded even if now I read a lot more screens than books.
And then I write too, just non-literary stuff like forum messages, like this one.
And now I’m off to bed… nighties lovelies!
Also: an App to tell you when it’s a good time to have a bio break while watching a film? Sure, why not
It’s not a joke app, they really mean to warn you when films loses pace or interest or just come filler scenes so you can take a break without missing anything relevant.
Today I’ve had a family celebration and we’ve gone to a restaurant after 9 months since the last time. We’ve enjoyed a good meal and the place was quite busy as it’s been a sunny day, although wind was chilly, and lots of people have gone to the seafront and even the beach (no sunbathing, but many people walking on the sand, some even barefoot). I’ve enjoyed the chance to break the weekly routine and now i’m specially tired so i’m going to bed earlier than usual. Nighties lovelies!
Also: some obvious things are not so much obvious…
Time for going to bed… today we did some maintenace work at the office, fixing ceiling lamps, replacing fluorescent tubes and other stuff requiring to climb on a ladder. As usual my eyesight and general ability for manual labor haven’t been anything to write home about, but I’ve got the things done (mostly) on my own. All in all, my boss is like 15 cms taller than me so he was more comfortable climbing on the ladder than me (I had to stay at top of the ladder to reach the ceiling lamps).
Nighties lovelies!
Also: from the growing collection of things I would throw my money at if I had enough room…
…so cool… but currently I don’t have neither a place to build it nor a place to display it.
Spent the night finishing reading Grave Peril.
4:45 AM here…
Life lesson:
So true…I’ve experienced it many times through my life. I know this for almost decades.
I’m NOT a MGTOW proponent, but I believe in minding my own business. The right Hayle-… err… I mean person will come at the right time.
Anyway…
I ought to finish that Rockefeller book while supplementing it with another non-fiction.
Also…
