Wow, its with inside! Now if only we could walk around in ships in EVE. That would be sweet.
My time to go to sleep… Nighties lovelies!
Also: how the western, developed city was stolen from citizens and handed over to corporate interests…
…and how citizens try to return it to people, not machines.
Some nice puzzle games, not the long type, it can be finished in few hours completely:
Time to go to sleep… nighties lovelies!
Also: all of Mike Oldfield’s synthesizers…
…could be summarized as: Roland made it, then Mike Oldfield used it at some point.
Time to go to sleep, after dropping a video on the music thread. Nighties lovelies!
Also: Wooow…! This is funky!
Gotta love her laughter!

…now that’s a skilled dancer with lots of body control…
Meanwhile I couldn’t dance for my life which means some of my dance skills landed on somebody else…
And now i’m off to bed. Nighties lovelies!
Also: on the fading art of cement floor tiles
My grandparent’s flat had a floor made of cement tiles with a simple pattern in four colors. This kind of tiles don’t shine but are quite sturdy; last time I was at my gran’s, the floor was in good condition and that was 80+ years after the building was built. Nowadays the “standard issue” floors in Spain are made of terrazzo tiles, with parquet flooring and ceramic tiles being upscale options. Cement tiles, by the way, were invented in Catalonia around 1850, and are making a comeback as highly valued custom flooring, or even as a perk when buying older flats. Being hand made and a phisically demanding job, they’re quite expensive…
Hmmm… apparently Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” film is having a lukewarm reception… we’ll have to wait for box office to say whether is a hit or a miss…
Meanwhile I’m out to bed, so: nighties lovelies! (And tomorrow i’ll watch Nana’s video on aircraft concepts)
City literally blown off the surface of earth and baked at the same time, with humans inside. Looks like meteorite impact. Event may have been noted in a changed form in bible as destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Alexa, play Below the Asteroids.
Wow, that’s impressive! Just imagine a whole city being flattened and incinerated by a big explosion on the sky, coming out of nowhere… temperatures so high that bricks and pottery boiled and organic matherial became diamantoids… I can imagine the archeologists uncovering the strata and finding weirder and weirder evidence and thinking, “but, what the hell happened here around 1650 BC…?”
A shocking find truly.
And now i’m off to bed. Today I have an appointment for a blood test and it’s earlier than my usual wake up time… So i’m off to bed NOW. Nighties lovelies!
Also: Futurama was quite right, back in 1999…
“Behold… The Internet!” “Woow! It’s full of ads!!!”
The really shocking part is about what happened with humans.
Nobody survived that in the area of many kilometers. The people discovered what happened from watching big blast from very far and finding everything charred and flattened after some time.
Today I tried out Sea of Thieves with friends. It is a real good pirate game.
Good night, lovelies.
Manipulation of gravity waves isnt simple as manipulating light for example. Gravity is generated by everything, but in all directions. For example if we would want to direct gravity at some point only, it would be impossible without dragging everything around the point from where waves are emitted. There is no way we would obstruct it with anything else than the space itself. Esentially the objects around the gravity well that we would want to be most affected by it, would have to be near it, and everything else, even machine generating the waves, would have to be far away. Machine would be also a subject to the gravity waves.
Looks like an impossible thing without finding something about properties of space and matter that we dont know yet. Something that would be able to not be affected by gravity, and also redirect the waves like it is possible with light and mirror.
I’m too tired to anything else than say good night… see you tomorrow people!
