Not if you are immortal
I canât imagine having that problem. It must suck.
Indeed I do

I would not mind a vampiress in her case. But thatâs an exception, not a rule. She seemed to slip by repeating 300 yrs old so I think shes in her 30âs, but one comment she made, made me think she might be older. Best left undiscovered! ![]()
Smartest thing I have read in apx a yr!
I donât quite agree but I can see your point.
The game falsely advertises itself as âI can do anything I wantâ. The only ad I see is the one where it says, âYou are not ready for this game.â tells the truth. So, I canât blame noobs for just wanting to chill. Itâs a two-edged sword. When I started, CCP said they would never sell skills but that became necessary. Even I had to agree even though that started the problem. One which the game will never regain its numbers. I could go on about the 50k avg and 60k spikes that the game will never have again. The game left most of its core gameplay/values/whatever behind because it had no choice. And the worst part is someone like you would probably have excelled back then.
None of the bitter old vets left here can describe the game back then, what you missed and the much more of a challange it used to be! Suffer through learning skills!
Glad you enjoy the game! Shame I gave all my isk to the hookers! ![]()
I tried to be diplomatic and explain. Weâll see what happens.
@MB_ThePhotographer I can see your point of view. With a game as old as EVE there are plenty of good memories and letdowns but things change with time and all we can do is adapt.
Iâll never stop posting this, because the thing he said at the end is terrifying:
Such a contrast to his young years:
Time to go to sleep⌠night night lovelies!
Also: I was today years old when I learnedâŚ
âŚthat a milk bar is a bar serving mostly milkshakes. I was under a vague impression that maybe they were like a kind of cafeteria here in Spain which used to sell their own milk with coffee or chocolate and also juices and soft drinks, but they never were called âbarsâ. Didnât occur to me that âmilk barâ was for âmilk(/shake) barâ since milkshakes never have been a big thing in Spain.

You edited your post after my reply. I want you to be the age you are, enjoying life to its fullest!
I do believe Iâve had to adapt far more than you have, but since you were not there at that time, I can see how you would not understand.
If itâs a race I believe youâve won quite a while ago.
Youngsters rarely understand what it means to adapt and adapt again. As society, the world, and life in general keeps changing.
Itâs not a race. Experience only comes from time. If it were a race, we have all lost.
I am very sorry I just cannot describe what the original game was like. Nor the time and effort to âGet Gud.â Just buy your way in now which in turn gets you killed which just gets players to leave.
The older you get, the more you have to adapt! ![]()
I may find an old video, but whatâs gone is gone. Reminiscing is charming but wonât bring anything back except memories and feelings which those who werenât there can never have.
Not going to buy my way into anything. We used to call people who do that âsuckersâ. The speed at which my skills train is 15.0. So be it. I donât care, I donât plan on flying anything over Destroyers anyway. Skill injectors, implants? No need. Iâm in no hurry. Skills will be done when skills are done. It doesnât hurt me if I donât play the game for a week.

He is fascinating and scary at the same time. He was a hero for pushing back the Ottomans and the myth on him is insanely sexy⌠wait, I thought I didnât like bad boys ![]()
