I over at a friend house the other day and we were geeking out on this. His backyard telescope was not strong enough really.. He designed and built his telescope. It is stronger than what one could get off the shelf. But it still was not strong enough really to get a good steady sight. To much light pollution. Even being a good twenty kilometers from the nearest town.
Still catching a glimpse of it was special. Amazing to know I was looking at something that conceivably may be older than our solar system.
Those children were all girls. The hairstyles or haircuts, rather, are what young black children had in the 1970ās. The one in blue. Her hair is pulled back into a small tight bun. Probably do for a hair cut that mom has not gotten around to just yet. Plus her glasses would be typical of a girl/women of that era.
The two on the left have the typical hairstyles that can be seen on black children to this day. And before anyone say it. No white childās hair could come close to this. Not with out a permanent and a lot of hair care involved.
Considering the surrounding that these children are in. Those dolls most likely represent their favorite toys. If not their only real toys. I would also point out that no boy would be caught dead playing with dolls with girls. Not unless he was willing to take the harassment and most likely a fight from the other boys.
That is even presuming his father would not have something to say along with a back of a hand. Boys of that time black, white, even Asian were discouraged from playing with girls and playing with dolls would have been unthinkable. The sexual revolution and equality be damned. Boys and girls were very much segregated when it came to playing. At best you might get away with playing āhouseā, but only if it was not a habit.
A different time and place. One wonders why we boomer can be more than a little screwed up. It started on the playgrounds.
A; āUnmet expectations.ā Iāve only met one woman who came close, but she could talk without breathing. The rest, while some were nice, had a flipped switch.
B; āCommunication challenges.ā Men use logic. Women use emotion so you will never understand them.
C; āDesire to control.ā āLike a weedā kinda fits. (Never thought of it that way) I found staying out of the way was the safest path. But then, I married a red head black belt, so who is to blame in that situation?
You posted some clip of a kangaroo somwhere attacking humans .

There is only one fighting skill that tops all other skills but one in a street brawl. Boxing teaches to keep distance, avoid being hit, avoid hitting the ground and knock out on first strike, against opponents not constrained by ritual rules or a risk of inflicting permanent injury.
The only fighting skill in a street brawl that tops boxing is not being caught in a street brawl.
