Are you a street brawler Yiole ?
Those two walnuts should be eaten as they are good for the brain.
Bad gurl.
Boxing is a great way to learn to how to avoid and take a punch. Wrestling andI am talking actual wrestling and not the âproâ wrestling entertainment. Actual wrestling can teach you how to grapple and use your body as leverage. But there is one discipline that can really teach you how to move in a physical confrontation. Gymnastics. More than any martial arts or even in boxing for knowing how to move. Ballet, tap dance, and learning to play an musical instrument. From string to percussion to wind instruments. Can teach you timing, breath control, and using fine motor control. To really train one mind Poetry, chess and such board games can help focus and develop strategic thinking and imagination.
What a lot of people do not realize is that just because you know how to fight. Pick any fighting discipline. That does not mean you can fight effectively or even well. To really be able to be a force in a fight. Learning a discipline, be it boxing. martial arts. or any mix martial arts, should not be the only thing one does in training to defend yourself.
I didnt train to defend myself. Did it for other reasons. Itâs also a really good workout, gives focus and discipline too. Plus, itâs pretty fun âlike youâre learning something cool instead of just going to the gym to work on your bum.
âŚthose days when you âcleverlyâ bypass censorship of specific names with descriptions that could be anyoneâŚ
(admittedly I didnât try bypassing the filters about a certain politician with a very characteristic complexionâŚ)
(In case you wonder⌠or donât⌠those Funko Pops come here hailing from Russia, China, Italy, Japan, El Salvador and Hungary)
I bite
No, I try to be adept at the best fighting style which also is the first layer of armored combat survival: donât be there. ![]()
Time to go to sleep⌠night night lovelies!

The âdarned clubâ was a group of women living more independently and freely than usual for Victorian standards; they wouldnât marry, would spend their time in sports and arts, would cross-dress, smoke or wear skirts shorter than usual for the era and otherwise be women going their own way; photographer Alice Austen shot them many times and left a glimpse into what did women in their private life when they dared to not be subject to social expectations.
Something going on with the 2 on the right , keeping each other at arms length.
Yeah, I Fâed up that one. Took 5 dudes but one of them broke my leg with a floor jack handle. Ah, to be young again.
In EVE, I took the floor jack handle and got some revenge. ![]()
@Aallin_Gicquet Taekwondo. Not a lot though. Some stories/experiences are best left untoldâŚ
Tells us a little more about her age! ![]()
Prudes.
I would not have you any other way.
Click the heart.
You know my age, I have been 16 for the last 300 years , but to be honest , dealing with that tightwad Frostpacker, has aged me another 16 years. Extracting isk from his wallet is like trying to suck blood out of a stone. To be honest, I think he prefers Kangaroos.
I donât know what to find more disturbing, that you go along with this, or that you happened to already have that picture.
You are just jealous . He will have a hard time finding a yellow jumpsit to fit his new bride though
My focus was on fighting and why it is necessary to engage in other unrelated fields. As a much younger man I lived a.. life.. Where I needed to be able to be effective in defending myself. For reasons that I will not disclose here at any time.
My true love is the sciences. In that my PTSD is at rest. When I am learning something of a new species or the latest work in uncovering a site of any age. I can in those brief moments find a peace I can not get anywhere else.
I envy those around me that can actually walk into a room and not look for exits and read the people in that room. Knowing where everyone is every moment I am in that room.
I have been many things. Sometimes all at once. I lived a life that few others could have survived. Then walked away from. Married and raised a son. That is in art the personality that you are engaging with.
Knowing how to fight was a means to be able to survive. And as in all things. I never really do half measures.
Never needed to look after myself but I did put a boyâs arm in a sling in primary and stabbed another with a pencil . Kicked one in the balls in secondary school.
I didnât mean to put him in a sling , but he did pull my hair, the one I stabbed in the hand, he was making aeroplane sounds , dunno what came over me. The one I kicked in the balls , well I kind of fancied him, wanted to get his attention, he asked me out later , but had a boyfriend then.
Other than that , was an angel

Yeah, I once bit a boyâs finger hard enough to draw blood when he poked me in the cheek, but he was practically asking for it.
