Y-zipper, or a zipper with 3 sets of teeth that interlock with interesting properties like shifting quickly from flexible to rigid. It was invented in 1985 but manufacturing it would have been a nightmare and never passed the concept phase; now 3D printing solved the manufacturing part and the original patent has expired thus anyone can make their own.

The author even shared some kind of 3D printer files for it…

Darn… apparently Chimeraland was so niche that there’s nothing like it, everything allowing to build structures is either hard decay, or private server only, or just building, no survival or MMO elements… Was tempted with Enshrouded but it’s a private server game, what’s the point to build something nobody will ever see?
