Those pugs look healthier than the most extreme cases we have nowadays. Also thatâs one finely dressed gentleman, the laps and general size of his coat remind of zoot suits, which by the time were completely outdated but still fresh in the memory of people.

1939 an era that did not think all that much about how to replace all those trees cut down. Yes a lot of national forests, parks, and monuments were created in and around this time period. Still it was about short term business profits without thinking overly much about the future.
