Thank you, @Zaera_Keena That article is crazy and if it’s true then what it discusses is crazier. I don’t like Alien anyway. I like James Cameron’s Aliens a whole lot more.
Hey! That’s not as cringey as me posting Hayley pics…which is, in fact, not cringey at all.

They all are dead now, probably even their children are dead for those who had them, and maybe most of their grandchildren too. But weren’t they pleased to be recorded forever? Each one was a nobody. Each one probably only had a few pictures from their marriage, if even, and maybe a few rolls of them as retired in the 1950 o 60s.
Yes, they have bad teeth. But their smiles are of pure joy.
@Ian_Morbius Just curious. Did men really act that way in 70’s America or is it just for the movie? Is the actors’ play accurate or exaggerated? Did all mafia type act like that or is it just for the movie. And if not, then didn’t the actors make mistakes in representing their characters and so weren’t such “good” actors after all or maybe they just followed the director lead…?
I have a photo of my father and his brothers when they were young. I can’t watch these kind movies.
Having led an interesting life shall we say, I was once offered help by “The Family”. I said no much to the relief of my uncle and myself.
Movies. No one that I knew growing up acted that way. Though in my checkered past of the 1980’s. I can say that the few that I met that were in one family or another. Were for the most part well spoken and were not fools.
Now how did Zaera know?
what region was your father from, MB?
I figure they must have been very smart to be able to run criminal organizations in the U.S for the better part of a century. I think their downfall was technology like wiretap recording, video and better policing and coordination methods within the different enforcement agencies.
Time to go to sleep… night night lovelies!
Also: fashion a century ago…

Les Modes Parisiennes? Did those fashion people had eyes back then or what was their problem? Ugly shoes, ugly dress, ugly hat… Even for the 20’s, that looks awful.
Only the necklace seems pretty but it’s difficult to tell on this pic.
Anyway, sleep well Yiole.
