I agree. They need to end the tribalism mentality, get serious about rooting out corruption and limit the influence of foreign countries on their political systems and resources.
They have a lot to do but I believe they can do it.

Actually no, they donāt have the capabilities and are poor, the west however share your opinion as want to keep Africa poor and dependant on them.
Russia though, for example are building railroads between countries for trade, the existing ones only went back to europe to bring back their resources. Also they are providing security for countries who have gained independance so they can prosper.
Russia and Chinaās goal is to make africa a rival superpower one day that they can trade with as want a multi polar world.

How can they get rid of the dark without getting to know light first? More africans need to go abroad and return with the knowledge back to their countries.

Thatās been happening for a long time already, although not at the level needed. Africans arenāt cromagnons, their level of society almost rivals that of Europe, minus a few differences.
What I see the biggest problem they have is corruption.

Russia and China have only business in mind, and that is not what africans can deal with without first having at least a decent and mildly honest politicians. Because they will be sucked dry of resources without actually profitting off of it as a society.

Russia and China are only interested in exploiting the continent for its resources, they couldnāt care less about the population.
I saw construction workers high up several stories on barely put-together wooden scaffolding! Wooden! And those men were getting a miserable wage to risk their lives up there. I couldnāt believe it and I was mad to have seen that.

Also: Egypt is Africa. Morocco is Africa. Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, are Africa. Madagascar is Africa too, but the people there have polynesian ascent sicne the island was settled westward first.
Africa is not just āblackā Africa, and no matter the news from it, itās also a place where good tings happen and things improve over years even if we only hear of the bad news.

I am quite aware of that.
Iām also aware that the continent is also host to some of the quickest developing countries.
One of the reasons is the cell phone revolution there. Cell phones are more prevalent there than flush toilets I heard.

In my neck of the woods (no pun intended) today we had national afforestation day. In each province, people planted thousands and thousands of trees with the help of being organized by local institutions. Every elevation area had their own suitable trees planted accordingly. Best day ever!
