Almost two months ago I tried to recover a zip folder Iā€™ve accidentally deleted not even a week prior. I have a file recovery software (EaseUS) and ironically every ā€˜otherā€™ file Iā€™ve deleted came up BUT the one I was looking for (no joke). There wasnā€™t even a trace of it anywhere.

I spent a good time trying the software a few more times throughout the month, making sure to not save anything to the computer or delete anything just so it didnā€™t get over written. If I did have to save something, I saved it to my external drive. Cried a little (because of what was in that file) but I eventually gave up because I came to the realization that maybe itā€™s just gone.

Was very frustrating because that file was important and that Iā€™ve had for several years, not even sure how I accidentally deleted it.

What software did you use by chance? If you donā€™t mind me asking.

Just standard Recuva, has deep scan and all that extra stuff. Same about the file. I was looking for about 23 files, made sure they copied to the end of the driveā€™s memory just in case I needed to restore them (or hide them extra well :slight_smile: yet they are the only files that wonā€™t come backā€¦ I recovered over 400 GB yet no luck.
