News guys are saying that the new currency, aetherium, etherium, that one, has plummeted in price are GPUs are being sold cheaper now, used, and have been overtaxed to GPU heavenā¦ but still cheapā¦ erā¦ ish

Yes, they are selling those used GPUs because all they want is a return on investment. Maybe why buying used GPUs is rather bad idea. I will have to buy a new one.
I had a little talk with someone who mined some time ago. He used account in a system where he stored all his bitcoins. One day it was all gone, not even a clue to what happened, if someone just robbed them of bitcoins or maybe the system owner decided to cash out. Everything is possible with this virtual currencies as they are outside the legal system. You can mine for nothing.
