Achievements are causing you a hassle if they are keeping you from modding the game 
They do nothing for you, where mods do just about anything you want.

As a completionist I can correlate with the issues of mods that keep me from getting achievements
I mean, come on, who doesn’t like minor self-esteem boosters that don’t mean anything unless you want to obtain minimal rewards?
