So this is how first fight of giant robots looks like in real life. I cant say I am very impressed, but its something unusual, new. Fairly resilient those machines, but they did not use very destructive weaponry, it was more like fight of baby bots, learning how too fight. I suspect when pilots would not be inside, it would look even more destructive, and people should have been separated, outside of the arena.

It’s just kind of lame, frankly. Any piece of weaponry would rip apart any of those in a single shot, so it’s all a “let’s make machinery bump each other without nobody getting hurt”. Like american wrestling but cheesier…

Yes! I imagined something similar but on bigger scale if it would be without humans inside robots.
But what about robot rights? 
If these robots would have very advance AI, it would be really hard to argue with it, that it should destroy itself for our entertainment I think.
With sentient machines, why would they destroy themselves? They could just join forces and make the creators that send them to die, their last victims.
