Well, today the local government of my place (Catalonia) has declared independence and how Catalonia is now a Republic. Probably it will make to the news at your countries. But other than that, is more a symbolic thing than anything else. Some people are happy crazy about it, but independentists are a minority and they seized control of the Parliament because of electoral law, which gave them 54% of representatives with just 34% of votes. The list of irregularites, broken laws (both Spanish and Catalonian), broken procedures and abuses that have led to this declaration is amazingly long and would embarrass anyone with half an ounce of political honesty or a vague idea on how Democracy works -not an illness the independentist politicians suffer from.
On the other side, the Spanish Government has activated a special article from the Constitution that allows them to take over the governemnt of regions, so right now we are a Republic (according to a minority including the local government) and an authonomous region whose local government has been suspended until new elections are held on December 21st, the earliest date possilble.
It all is so silly that I wonât waste your time with further details. I am sincerely embarrassed to be a Catalan right now.

I abstained from the internet for quite a while because quite frankly,time was passing too fast and I was coming across stuff on the web which I couldnât relate myself with. Also,my PCâs SSD drive died of using its 10 TB read/write life in under 5 years.My other and inferior gaming PCâs RAM modules were defected and had to buy new RAM for that.
I bought a blazing fast Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB to make my PC future proof. I installed Windows 10 on it and added a 1 TB hard-disk for Steam games only. I already queued 300 GB worth of games to be downloaded on it. The games that are included,but not limited to: 6 Total War games,all the Valve games except CS:GO,all the Bioshock games and DLCs,Oblivion and Skyrim,Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Call of Duty: Ghosts. My video card is R9 380 so I think Iâll be fine running the newer titles. I plan to install EVE on the SSD to make it load faster but I doubt itâll have any effect on the game.
I bartered my 2008 Peugeot 307 in exchange with an almost identical one including the color except the car I received had automatic speed and ran on gasoline. I might post my carâs photos here some time later if there is a demand for it.
Today, Paul Newmanâs Rolex Daytona sold for 17.8 million dollars. It is a day to be remembered in the horology history. I hope my 1983 UAE Datejust fetches a similar price if I get famous one day.
My team, Galatasaray is sitting at the top of the league,6 points ahead of other teams and 8 points ahead of its archrivals. This doesnât make me happy,nor sad. What will make me happy is all the teams in the league having the quality of La Liga teams.
Speaking of La Liga, I dearly hope youâll stay safe in Catalonia, Yiole. Iâve seen riot footages on the news and I immediately thought of you.
