Yeah the RUI formula is wquite simple (because Rui is an actual person name), little tricks like these help me memorise things fairly well, it is how to apply them that is the tricky part.
Had a test on Direct Current the other day, we had a sheet with exercises to practise and all (teacher is for some reason reluctant to give at least the correct answers to help us try and get to the right numbers), I knew how to apply the formulas in currents with parallel resistances and stuff and how tension and current were in different parts of the DC, but on the test what he presented was quite the complex little thing. He does exercices that are too easy to help know how to use the formulas, but doesnât push it further to help us know what to do in more complex situations
