Somehow related anecdote: the rights to publish “A song of Ice and Fire” in Spain were bought by a small bookstore in my city Barcelona, which had a small printing company to translate and publish SF and Fantasy books which weren’t of interest to larger publishers. Back then the bookstore, called Gilgamesh like the Babylonian hero, was THE store for SF, Fantasy, tabletop RPG and underground culture freaks in Barcelona, specially notorious for the availability of out of print rarities. Originally, the SOIAF series was succesful for the size of the Fantasy genre in Spaìn, until it became a TV series and then it just boomed. Today, Gilgamesh haves a massive store, its owner and founder has become millionaire and Gilgamesh still is THE store to look for everything SF, Fantasy, tabletop RPG, and underground culture…
How these kind of things happen in Barcelona and not Madrid, is one of the funny traits of Catalan vs Spanish culture.

I’m here, I’m back and I’m alive
Onto some Eve stuff, yesterday I bought an outfit for 80 million ISK, it was a marshal jacket (B/R), white tank top, B/R pants and Hephaestus sneakers (R/W) [they were 72 million… for a pair of shoes!] and instead of wearing it I decided to wear this 6 million ISK armor because Dust. I also have a beard 
The new alpha skills are going to be fun. Got Calmatar skill set ready but also am trying to make a 
Gallente drone boat (passive Rep) to salvage L1 or L2 missions semi AFK (for when I need to make Rigs). So much new stuff!
Also, screw you Global Warming! It’s 100+ in the summer and below freezing in winter now, Oregon never used to have such drastic shifts… 
Oh yeah, applied for a job at the school I go to, apparently before I signed the papers I already had it, I have yet to be told the pay, hours, or who my boss even is… Not that I’d see them where I’d be on the campus
