Today I got a steam controller…
Today I learned the definition of Junk
They replaced the right stick with a touch pad… I am using a laptop, I already have a touchpad… Well, SCP driver and PS3 controller still work, so…
What did I expect, a controller made by a company that can’t count to 3

Well the touch pad on the steam controller is supposed to work like a mouse so you can do mouse related stuff when you got your PC hooked up to a TV and for games like civilization, etc.
For sitting in front of your PC I say it’s redundant, for use on a steam machine/PC hooked up to TV and the user sitting way back on a couch its pretty handy.

As a mouse it’s great, I can lay under the blankets, laptop on table on lap, and not have my arms freeze while the controller acts as mouse (and keyboard if I really need it…).

Ewww touchpad? 
Sorry it turned out being junk =/. I cannot imagine trying to play a driving game while being unable to feel where center is. But I see @Commissar_Kate has a good point, perhaps it has uses.
