I started on normal and failed horribly right at the start. My job was shooting the alien UFO down. Auto-resolving the combat had a 100% chance of success. I tried it manually to figure out how it works and was shot down myself in short order with the UFO escaping without so much as a scratch!
I’m just too bad for Xenonauts even at low difficulty and will go back to XCOM2 Legendary Ironman
No, that’s the thing. XCOM is about random factors ■■■■■■■ you up. Xenonauts is entirely predictable and purely based on skill
I had no idea how to give my jet any commands, so I’ll have to figure that out I guess… And then I’ll tear those aliens a new one!
Ah, so it looks like a game that would be initially hard to learn but then probably easier and easier as you aquire more skill and learn all the opponents.
I am always trying to find the easiest way of playing, the most cheesiest part not thought over by devs. That is how bots were defeated that Musk company prepared, its the last bastion of humanity, its our future to cheese out the AI to its demise. Being lazy helps.
The veterinary* called my parents about the results of the test performed on our last cat Dina wednesday last week. Dina was suffering kidney failure and severe liver malfunction and she was a few days away from comma. Euthanasy was the only choice as cats fight to their last breath and suffer a lot in the process of trying to not die.
*trivia: “veterinary” comes from the latin “vetera”, cow. It’s also the root to the word “veteran”, which originally refered to a legionary who finished his service (25 years) honorably and received as reward a piece of fertile land and a cow.
