I woke up today to 37(!) incoming assault notifications hitting 4 different stations (2 are clustered and protecting each other). I wonder how many of those are real.

Ah, I should have tried to watch the larger image before guessing! Gustavs were so ubiquituous that I thouhgt I just wasnā€™t seeing the bulges on the nose, but in the larger picture itā€™s obvious the larger undernose coolers of the KĆ¼rfursts. Back in prehistory (ca. 2008), when I played IL-2 online, the K was my favorite 109, but I preferred the Spitfire IX with E wings. Nimble, rolled like a dream and the Hispano guns were pretty usefulā€¦

Itā€™s DCS World.

Good sim and the aircraft are beautifully detailed with clickable cockpits and all but Iā€™d say Il-2 is a way better ā€œgameā€.

Slings loads are probably one of the most difficult things to do and takes lots of experience to get good at it. 10 tons on a 15m long rope swinging around is no joke.

Well I dont know if you know but all the aircraft are separate purchases and their winter sale just ended. That helicopter is not free. Mi-8 Hip

Thatā€™s the only thing with DCS, all the extra aircraft are paid for and kind of expensive. The quality of them is excellent. The Mi-8 for example has nearly every working system in the game as it does in the real world. No single push button start.
