I had a poke around and I found out why the prices are so low. Apparently they are generic, unbranded versions, at least the ones from china. Essentially reverse engineered cards, like AMD to Intel back in the beginning. So, they are the unbranded, lowest cost models around. They might not be able to overclock too well, or not have the ports to add in extra power, but it’s the card…

Also, it could have the top switched with a newer design and/or a firmware switch to make it appear like another GPU.

Might work great for a rigged up eGPU :slight_smile: not so much for a desktop user, I guess
