Is Dread Pirate Scarlet really the newest of the regular L4 combat missions? Wow… It’s a good 'un, I agree… more Damsels, more Gone Berserks, more Scarlets. Maybe some different versions of the Blockades/Assaults/Extravaganzas, too.
Yeah, more would be good, but I have fun with L4s by trying new and different ships/fits. Went from Domi to Rattlesnake to Ishtar to two Ishtars to two Nestors to two Paladins to two Kronoses to two Vargurs.
And that’s where I’m at right now. Also have tried three Rattlesnakes by getting my 3rd toon (booster) into RS–her first BS!.. but all 3 toons don’t have t2 cruises yet, so waiting on that to be a skillqueue priority before I really give that one a serious shot.
Re: burners:
I’ve only done team burners and talos base burners on my own that much (I’ve done a couple regular frig burners but with a group)… talos base burners are pretty cool. I do them with three perma-double-repping 100MN AB Deimoses. Takes ~3 minutes to burn the three HACs the 200km distances to the three Serpentis Taloses… then about ~30-45 seconds (depends on how good the AB-shutoff-to-close-orbit timing is on all 3 toons) to burn 'em down simultaneously with Void M and Valk IIs, loot, and leave.
The loot is sometimes crap but sometimes really amazing. Way better “good ■■■■ drop rate” than team burner assault frig wrecks, at least. Have gotten Shadow Serp DCs (~280 mil), magstabs, TCs, SeBos, blasters/railguns etc. Plus it’s ~25 mil ISK each mish from bounties and rewards. Pretty good for 3.5 minutes work (the jumping systems and getting the mission offers is the hardest point at this point), and if you can chain 3, 4, 5 of 'em (with 3 toons all pulling offers from 20+ agents near Amarr, I can sometimes do that)… it’s a good night.

Ah, see? a fellow talos base burner fan. Doing that with one Worm? Nice. Faster than my Deimoses, but you gotta burn to all 3 targets. Try it with 3 worms at once. 
And yes, the magstab/DC loot is what I’m always most hopeful will drop, always need more of those. TCs, too.

Wow… so a Paladin with officer mods was doing the Angel sites last week in Perimeter of all systems…
And not only that, he had 2 tachyons and 2 POLARIZED heavy pulse lasers… but then was wasting two lows on a DC II (not even faction, scrub!) and an A-type EANM… boy, that was an ultra-waste. Better off with a faction CPR and a 2nd repper if he’s gonna fit polarized. I wonder if he even realized his resists were at 0%… fitting window, man! fitting window. :::shakes head sadly:::

I remember them putting this (similar technology idea) in a shirt, it made just enough power to charge a phone… at the cost of the wearer needing to exercise, then stop, then etc. Great for joggers.

Yeah, doing the same stuff with different ships/fits is what keeps mission runners busy, but it does end. Figuring new stuff to throw at new missions added regularly (and specific rewards for PvE) would go greatly towards extending the tenure of mission runners, but as I said, we’re expendable. CCP doesn’t wants us.
All in all, what I figured when I was 1 year old in EVE and what I still think 9 years after my main was born is completely true: either you play EVE in CCP’s way, or you go away. “Play your way” is complete bullsh¡t when your way is figuring new ways to solve dungeon puzzles and CCP can’t be arsed to add new dungeons for 7 years because, since people run the same old sh¡t for years, it’s fine this way.
