I got my first office job after ~15 years of freelancing. Now project manager runs around me (and other programmers) and ask if we can do stuff faster? Happens every 30 min. And I can’t play MMO games 6-18 hours daily - as I used to.

Stupid part of my office development experience: we got testers for the products we create (mobile apps). Their salary is the same as a mid-level (5+ years of experience and specialized degree) network engineer would have - but their job requires “qualification” of a 12 year old teenager who can use mobile phone.
I have described the situation to a friend of mine (a waiter) and he posted “mobile tester” resume where he basically described his mobile phone user experience - in technical terms as I taught him. Got tons of calls and it seems he’s getting new job next week.

Maybe the wages wil get lower when people will start to offer their 12-year-old-teenager skills for lower wages. If the market will get full of those job applications, there will be a competition.
