Eve had had at its peak, 65,000 players (ish). That is nothing compared to the 10’s of millions that wow, fornite, and leage of had. not even close.
Minecraft! minecraft has had more popularity then eve

Oh look, the fraud doesn’t understand that “look at these exceptional successes” is not a response to the fact that most games do not succeed. Even if Minecraft is way more successful than EVE or WoW it’s still more successful than countless failed games.
Im pretty sure the only mmo’s that died after two years are ones from korea, and that is because their design principles (like extensive grinding systems) Does not work well in the western market, but being the genius designer you are you should know that.
Wow, Guild Wars, Rift, and the like are all still around, and still out pacing eve, but quiet a bit mind you.
Eve is the exception for the space genre. IT’s the only one to make it out of development. Blackrise (or what ever it was called) or what ever it was, jump gate 2, infinity, all of those games died in development.
btw speaking of money, Microsoft offered the creator of infinity 160 million at some point, he would of been far richer then you on a solo created game that was not launched, just to put your “Change” into perspective.
Going to bed, have a long day of coding a head of me tomorrow
nite!
I’m pretty sure you’re ignorant again. Just to name one example, because it was one that I personally was disappointed by: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Wikipedia
Launched in 2008. By 2009 it lost 2/3 of its players, was a net loss of money for the company, and closed most of its servers. The game didn’t technically shut down its last server until 2013, but it was effectively a dead and abandoned game well before that point. It only survived because once you strip out most of the operating and development costs keeping one last sever active has a minimal cost.
Eve is the exception for the space genre.
Oh, so now you’re going to admit that EVE is a success compared to its competitors in the genre? Guess I’m a great developer after all.
