I disagree completely. BTC is a way to avoid any regulations and mostly repercussions. How is it democracy when the nodes are not every person but a small amount of industrialists? You just confirm what I warned about, giving all of the financial power to a small group of shady people who support scams and crime won’t make the world a better place for the average person.

The nodes are every person. Bitcoin has artificial limits that make it viable for everyone to run a node. There are even mobile wallets who run a node in the background.
That is why we take the power away from the ECB and give it back to the people. An organization full of non-elected convicted criminals that abuse their power to enrich themselves and keep the people poor
That is where we are right now, and Bitcoin is a peaceful opt-out of that world
The ECB is not elected by the people. The surveillance laws every country has to implement because of international pressure are not decided by elected representatives.

They can be logical and they can be illogical. When you try to argue with an opinion that is illogical, that’s a “non sequitur”.
Typically the post I quoted was a non sequitur. There was no logical link between what I posted, and the interpretation you proposed.
And as much as it’s fine to produce illogical opinions - since our brain actually make logic AFTER their opinion - it can’t be used in a discussion, because it’s a sterile approach. That’s why when you grow up, you learn to make constructive discussion, that is to use logic to propose logical interpretations that can bring more information to people than the childish “I don’t think so”.
Also the notion of “fact” depends a lot on what you already accept as facts. If you trust people enough, then you perceive their opinions as facts.

Please explain how everyone being involved in the outcome of something is NOT democracy. You seem to have it backward. If in fact everyone can be involved in BTC then that is closer to a democracy than a select few managing that something. What you’re saying is not logical.
