Probably just a perception issue on your side. This exchanges are completely optional and everyone knows the phrase “not your keys, not your crypto”. If you leave money on this exchanges you know you risk losing it.
Meanwhile in fiat you have no choice, because the money doesn’t exist without this banks, they are the fundamental operating system of the fiat system. And governments don’t hesitate just debasing their currency to save the banksters that gambled away your money by just printing a huge pile of money and basically stealing value from the people by doing so.
Luckily we are no longer required to save our money in this system run by criminals and frauds.
