The Rise and Fall in Bitcoin Value

Against nature it probably is, lol.

Damn right, but I got out of it, bought a pizza and walked away.

Like all that machinery and fiber/paper/inks printing the fait currencies at a rate nobody has seen.

Not to mention gold and silver mining.

Diamonds are your best friend too.

They invested everything they had because they thought their money would be tripled or quadruples, that is greed. Why not invest a fifth of their money and be satisfied with any profit made? They are not the poor desperate victims you claim they are as they were repeatedly warned about volatility and they lacked general trading experience.

Good luck in WEF’s biometric world where there is many examples of people having limbs cut off and being held to ransom to get something.

Also, it’s something you cannot change and on your person every day and capturable easily.

Won’t unlock your access, no problem, liveness checks are easy to fool.

Your are comparing apples to pears.
Currency from a government is used to facilitate economical transactions. Most of those have been reduced thanks to plastic  payments cards. It’s a start…

I don’t mind gold or silver but both the mining of those and the processing including transport are probably less polluting than printing and trading crypto. One should do a study about it. When people marry, they can just email and NFT instead of a ring!

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. I never understood the shiny glasslike stones but to each their own, I don’t have people telling me to invest in diamonds . Gold and silver (will end the FED) that I do see on occasion.

Some probably are greedy investors, I did not check every bitcoin investor.
But I would assume most are just lured into the crypto by zealous crypto promotors who can’t stop promoting it… because they depend on it.

I dunno man, if you look at the Terra collapse forums you will see there are many people hiding in their homes from their own friends banging down their door demanding answers for what’s happening with Terra. It looks like lots of friends introduced it to friends, now those people have lost everything and many are talking about suicide which is sad.

That’s why you limit your risk and secure capital.

It’s sad those things happen, but is it good to give “not financial advise” that looks like financial advice to friends? Or even acquaintances? I don’t think they explained the risks but focused on the “crypto is the futre” and “You will all be rich and unhappy”, right? Not so sure the IMF isn’t playing both sides…

Wait for the videos on youtube of the televised plumet of the stock market. We do it every few often, it’s like nobody learns.

But is the average person someone who should be busy on a daily base checking his portefolio? Yes and no, but if most are loosing so hard, I think it would be better no one promotes crypto to them and lets them enjoy an icecream. They probably could have had two scoops…

The furthest my financial advice will go is “Buy a gaming computer and set up nicehash and see how it goes!” Not “Invest everything you own in a stablecoin which is backed by another coin which is backed by BTC”

The largest promoters of crypto are the institutions and funds themselves.

The largest dumping onto retail come from the funds and institutions. There was an analysis of the funds on Coinbase issuing tokens, that had the worst performance.

The institutions and funds are also the ones twisting the purpose of Bitcoin into their own narritive.

That is true, the advertisments for crypto also exploded and people think their money (investment) is protected, like a bank but with more interest. It’s not like they know why banks give them interest rate on their money.

Yes, this appears to be the situation. We must resist this and educate ourselves to a level and deal with Bitcoin directly without the need for ponzi schems and stable coins.

I must admit I did laugh a bit when I saw all of them shitcoins burning but now I know people put their entire life into these bad schemes I don’t find it funny at all, I honestly thought most people would have put a few thousand into it where it wouldn’t be the end of the world if they lost it.

Alt coins are fun when you get them free.

Convert to Bitcoin at the earliest opportunity.

All in on alts, that’s not wise.

‘Almost’ achieved. But at least he got paid in USD.

Mat Damon will not inspire financial investors but the young and reckless. People who think economics are a Marvell movie where everyone can win. It’s targeted to those that live in fear of our current economical /political situation. It’s not aimed to help them, but to bail out psuedoi-banks. Yes, after the bank bail out, apparently the crypto exchanges also took a public bailout.

There’s a sucker born every minute tho…

Banning Bitcoin won’t stop that.

Bitcoin doesn’t scam anybody, people do.
