I am not Quake. Try replying to the right people. It’s simple. Drop from 5 to 2 drones. Bump them up to 25m each. The AFK works by setting 5 drones on the largest rocks in the field and not caring about efficiency, meaning afk orcas mine less than a venture anyway so don’t actually really matter, but this means they can’t mine anywhere near as long without input.
Take ice fields and break them into more chunks so each chunk mines out faster for the same reason.
Now you’ve fought afk without any impact on active miners. It’s a slight buff to Covetors/Hulks as their mining drone yield would go up as a result, but given they are less popular I don’t see this as a bad thing and they certainly are active miners regardless of drones.

Orca is a very good mining ship at its place the only balance I want in orca is that it should be able to mine about 3k M3 ore per minute so that atleast it can compete with exhumers and barrages for the price what you are paying for.

The defensive capabilities of orca should not be touched otherwise it would not make any sense to use the orca against triaglavians and gankers in high sec.

Orca was meant to be a command ship (CCP said it is a mining one but I really don’t think so) but a majority of players use this as a solo mining ship and don’t use boosts until they have like a billion alts.

It is still the best in its class but the gap between other mining ships and orca is huge. It really needs some maintenance.

Orca does all , but mining is not perfect. The Jack of All Trades is what you pay when you buy the Orca.

No, it shouldn’t and that’s the point.

It’s like you’ve ignored every single response that was posted 2 months ago and come right back, re-iterating your position as if the tons of posts never happened.

That’s up to them. If they think that solo orca mining is what they want, then go ahead. But the way players use a ship, doesnt change what a ship was intended to be used as.

Just because there are players that use a interceptor as a hauler, doesnt mean CCP should suddenly give them a fleet hangar.
