Its really not hard to see why this forum is brutal. It was brutal long before I became a regular poster, remained so during my year and half long absence, and probably got a little better since I returned and started pointing some of this garbage out.

Please please walk me through the obtuse tunnel of logic you constructed that made Ridley’s addition to Smash Bros a personal attack on you.
How? Its a mode. I can go into that mode. If there was a personal attack there it was: “automatically” as if you don’t have the will power or intelligence to control yourself.
In the post you referenced, you are using some very strong words to describe people who just enjoy the game differently than you. However, ganking is still all done using valid mechanics and expected gameplay.
Anyway, we could sit here and discuss our differences, while getting increasingly more angry at each other. Or we could just try to take the forums and game a little less serious and return to the light-hearted fun that was this thread some posts above.
The problem between us is, that we have fundamentally different views on the game and what constitutes valid gameplay. We will never agree on anything.
Whatever discussion you wish to have, wouldn’t really matter anyway. Both carebears and gankers, still play the game within the limits of its rules and that is all that really matters.

I do actually but you are so sincerly insanely ticked off at the minute that youll see anything anywhere.
Except the only person here who hasnt seen how monumentally off the rails you are being is you.

Oh dear…strong words? Can you teach some more pleasant words for things like lying, griefing, trolling and sadism? Did you think the word “brutal” in the OP was as pretty and gentle as a lily?
As I have said a million times its not the ganking half as much as the griefing that is often behind it. Its not a surprise that a game that encourages ganking attracts griefers who then use chats to grief more on top of the ganking, and then grief some more on the forum.
Why do you think Aiko has this internal and persistent need to keep bringing up my mining Gnosis from my early alpha years? That’s a straight up attempt to grief and frankly, I don’t think she can help it.
