You know as well as I do I don’t bother to gank. Too much work when they just fall into your lap in a wh while making isk on the side!
He’s learning? Maybe there’s hope?

Of course I do but you said you have plenty of free time these days so why not some banter on the forums just for the sake of it?
Others tend to claim ganking is easy.
Exactly what a ganker would say who just got found out.
Ah, ganking isn’t so easy?
Unless he’s so lazy that even the slightest of efforts is too much for him or something.
If ganking is that hard, why did CCP feel the need to nerf it? Usually, anything in eve that is difficult to accomplish gets avoided, not abused enough to warrant any action by CCP.
I don’t think they nerfed ganking in the past few years, with the exception of changes to alpha and -10 ganking, which were intended to get rid of alpha freeloaders and poor gankbears who can only afford to target new players. Other changes, such as changes to miner EHP, were all driven by nullsec concerns.
My understanding, based on several conversations with CCP staff and members of the CSM, is that CCP does not normally try to balance Highsec. The primary goal is to balance nullsec, and Highsec is a secondary concern. The ‘balance’ in Highsec is determined by CONCORD response time. CCP’s view is as follows: If it’s too hard to gank, go to a lower security status. If it’s too hard to survive, go to a higher security status. Beyond that, CCP does not wish to adjust things one way or the other, favoring neither miners nor gankers.
Regardless, you seem to be attempting an illogical argument, suggesting that ganking cannot be “hard” because it was “easy”. This is irrational, because although ganking may have been “easy”, nerfs are designed to make things “hard”. So the fact something was “easy” has no bearing on whether it still is. This is why antigankers need to learn how to gank, in order to actually understand the current process. The only effective antigankers I know are people who have ganking mains, namely myself, Hawk, Jason, and of course Tweeps and Kalorn. Fly SAFE o7!
So I spin your question back at you: If ganking is that easy, why hasn’t CCP felt the need to nerf it? Why does CCP continue to tolerate ganking? I think the reason is simple enough to understand: CCP doesn’t think ganking is “easy”.
Make more accounts.
True in the short term.
My argument is that I had to learn a brutal game that you can now just CC into and claim it’s too hard.
The best way to teach people to avoid ganks… is to teach them HOW to gank.
That’s why, back when, I used to take out newbies (or older PVE bears) out on a gank. Just get a few destroyers, make them do the target selection and approaches. Not just the F1 part, because them figuring out the WHY is the important part as the HOW is then, comparatively, easy. And then asses afterwards how it went.
This is also explains the “ganking is easy”. Yes the action of targeting and clicking F1-F3 is indeed easy. The trick is the planning, preparation and target selection part. Still not difficult but something that is very often forgotten, mostly because people don’t actually understand that part.
I’d be interested in learning that.
It turned out to be “Keep outta my wh.”
