hmph, to have this we need to also have twice a year a purge day in HS, no concord no facpo, just straight up ability to murder.
And CCP sold the game. The story is still being written my friend.
Thatâs not what causes inflation.
So, you want a completely safe, high income generation hisec?
Given the minimal risks currently in hisec and the pretty decent income you can generate there, is say you already have 99% of what you want.
So you think that .01 isk per unit of Trit, Pyerite, and Mexallon is unparalleled wealth generation? (unlimited generation/mining with no destruction)
Blinged out ships not being destroyed will also decrease the cost of DED/faction modules.
Nearly nothing would be consumed to spend ISK on. No, itâs DESTRUCTION that fuels economies. CCP has the data to back up that claim. Hek! Even look at average player login numbers, itâs been trending up with Havoc, not down!
Pirate fw gets kind of close here sometimes.
3 factions, each hate the other 2.
Does mr/ms Amarr Victor go for the min mil stuff to maybe cash in on min mil hunting us and reclaim some of those massive losses in recent times or us angels?
lets find out! So far they seem to like hunting angel pilots as much as min mil. MOre targets for all so not a bad thing really.
You have nothing to base this on. I donât think youâre capable of considering an alternative to the status quo. Golden ages amass wealth and then they fall. You just want to go straight to the end part.
I donât think this would pull off well. Apart from making ganks impossible, wars (from war decs) within high-sec would also come to an abrupt halt? That sounds awfully dull. Even with the common miner ganks, transport gank and raids on 0.5 gatecamps, insta-popping rare shuttles and pods, and the very occasional Marauder gank, I consider High-sec quite relatively safe as it is, and the high population density in high-sec compared to low and null-sec of the average Eve player is testament to that.
I am as cuddly as they come in regards to PvP (I walk a simliar line as the youtuber Captain Benzie in regards PvP) and even I consider said notion to be quite dull.
I find that highly unlikely, considering the risk in drop in consumption of ships, modules, ammunition, which tend to be stimulated by the constant destruction of ships (this is the consumption). Markets would be altered, most likely slowed down, in a way that the playerbase would not find amicable. It risks the incentive of industrialist players to maintain the supply needed to even to carry on PvE.
THAT is a big promise, and one which has no back-up of empirical evidence that demonstrates such a tendency. No data, you are puffing nothing but air.
There be plenty of other games and other entertainments that take care of that already. And who are these ââpeople of all walks of lifeââ you are invoking?
With all due respect, but such proposition to fix this game, is about as effective as fixing a car by putting a speed limiter up to 10km/h claiming it will end the possibility of running into an accident.
Why do you all keep feeding Daim IS/Wesfahrn/Dreg APC/Prometheus XRay?
Youâre all part of the problem.
Dull? Some people consider creativity exciting. Making things is a big part of the game. Think about it.
Why hate on people who want to work and build things without being shot at?
For those that âlove destructionâ, go to LS or Null. No one is stopping you.
The sad truth is, those people are afraid of actual PvP so they impose their style of PvP on miners, haulers, and mission runners. Whoâs really afraid?
What right do you have to destroy the player market?
LOL. Itâs CCPâs Market noob! The players donât drive the market.
IFâŚIF they would allow HS to be how it was intended, then maybe the players would âdrive the marketâ.
Now, we just have CCP tweaking it however they feel.
how do you figure the players do not drive the market? A citation is needed.
THIS on the other hand would most likely make the game crash with the excessive amount players wanting to hop in on the carnage. What are we here for if not playing spaceships and blowing them up.
Really? CCP can introduce ANY good or service (through the Store) at ANY time and set the price to whatever they deem appropriate. Players only react.
CCP âspawnsâ Ice and other minerals at their leisure. They decide when and where asteroids and rats spawn. Not to mention all of the items that CCP has a set buyback price for.
Do you honestly think the players have much control over the economy? Iâm sure there are hundreds of other examples.
Youâre talking about ships without guns, right? Does that really make you feel manly?
Are you telling me that I am not allowed to set up my own Buy back pricing? I am not allowed to set the price im willing to purchase goods from other players?
Is that what you are saying?
Iâm saying that itâs a drop in the bucket. CCP are like Gods with all the tools needed to manipulate the market.
players drive the market thought right?
players set prices for buy orders and sell orders based their needs and ability correct?
Absolutely not. Sure, you can put a piece of TritÂŽ on the market for a billion ISK, but no one will buy it. The mean price is determined by many other factors.
Have you studied economics?
Why would I want to purchase 1 Trit for a Billion ISK or sell 1 Trit for 1 billion ISK?
When there are no NPC vendors for Trit providing a regulated pricing and I can produce millions of units of Trit at no cost(ISK) in a single day?
