Tin Can Plinking and Actual PVP

High Sec Gankers often times revere themselves as the ultimate content creators.

Lets break that down.

Tin can plinking : The majority of ship losses in terms of raw number of ships occur in high-security (high-sec) regions, specifically around major trade hubs and common travel chokepoints.

Therefore High Sec gankers are low quality content that is comprised of cheap and small ships. Basically Temu, send out a lot of junk to make a lot of ISK.

However, in terms of the total ISK value of ships lost , the high-risk, lawless regions of null-security (null-sec) space and wormholes account for the highest value of destruction.

Therefore, null-sec and wormhole PvP is elite PvP content where boths sides engage in high ISK / $$$ put into the ships while Tin-canners, put little real money in but get a lot back.

Everyone is a content creator for themself.

Hillmar himself said so in several interviews about EvE’s early days…you better go google them.

Arthur Schopenhauer is known for saying that most people are stupid with iq of 100 or lower…that explains the rush to play wow.

and no one really greifs newbies…they are not worth it…if such died in wh,ls, or ns…well there was a warning box…maybe they should read..cant fix stupid.

you want to wrap ppl in bubble wrap…i grew up where i had to stay outdoors until dark doing whatever, where my highschool had rifles and a shooting range…

most players that come to eve are college age or older…so grow up, i have no more time for your stupidity, and i will never coddle a grown arse man that is too stupid to learn, be humble and ask questions.

An IQ of 100 is considered average intelligence representing the midpoint of the general population.

Arthur Schopenhauer died in 1860. Using his base of philosophy in 2026 is like trying to use a dugout canoe to get to the Moon.

It’s still hilarious to me how many people equate playing this flawed, super-niche video game to high intelligence. Sorry but Eve is not a game for the intelligentsia. That’s chess. Grow up and get over yourselves.

I think figuring out the passive tree of Path of Exile takes more intelligence than playing Eve.

That said, you have to be a the exact opposite of intelligentsia to be ganked in highsec. They didn’t bring them the short bus, they sent a minivan for those people.

Its humorous to me when some of my community guildies all notice im playing EvE again. They give me static about playing a game that requires spread sheets in excel and all that nonsense. “Oooo, that takes too much time and effort just for a video game.” Im like, okay whatever.

Now even though there are people that probably do that for tracking purposes understandably……its in no way required. I dont use a single spread sheet for anything. I just play the game.

There was a mention of WoW people in the thread. Yep..some of the static i got was from those guys. Its funny that Blizzard is about to shut off many of the addons that everyone has depended on for so many years. I cant wait to see where the IQ levels end up at when they actually have to play their game.
