I’m confused are you arguing for or against what I said

Been pretty well solo my entire EVE existence… Had alts here and there but mainly afk training for sale purposes. Never felt left behind, I’ve been in many corps over the years, but as far as my isk and skill progression, its been solo play and funded. Not just funded or scraping by, I’ve amassed a fortune and NOT from market pvp. Ninja null sites, both combat and relic/data. I have MAYBE 5b in losses (1.5b loss from when local was f**ked last patch day) was reimbursed. So for the estimated 300b or so I’ve made, I am isk positive for sure. While working full time hours (not on a computer) and managing a wife and 4 kids. For several years now, 4-6 hours per week.

I’m going to stop here with the quote. Imagine an Eve Online where multiboxing wasnt allowed. Imagine that your alliance was gearing up to fight another rival alliance. The orders were given and the “troops” put into position. You wait for the opportune time and you warp in and light your cyno. The fleet jumps in and begins having fun, but you’re stuck there for 5 minutes looking all sad. You likely die within those first moments of your cyno being up, but there’s no reasonable way for you to reship.

I would hate to be the cyno guy, wouldn’t you?

Part of that knowledge is that you do need alts, thereby proving OPs point a bit.

Looking at some of CODES fleet multiboxing or botting is plaguing them.
Is there a rule for it? Because I might start reporting them with screenshots I’ve collected with suspicious names.

CCP can do something about it without banning multiboxing, like they did with offgrid boosting. At least they were committed to replace unfun mechanics in the past.

I think it depends on the sector of activity.
In PVP or PVE, yeah, an experienced player will do better (example : the solo ship going against gate camps, etc).

But in other thing, like mining, you can have the most skilled character in an Hulk, you will never do better than a guy with fleet booster and multiple accounts.

Changing cyno mechanics won’t cause people to not multibox that aspect of the game. The only way you stop people from multiboxing at this point is to either make things WAY more actively involved than they are, or to outright ban multiboxing which they will never do.

I don’t see Eve Online being healthier and more profitable for CCP if they do this with multiboxing at this point.

and… links are still mostly a role you’re going to stick an alt.

And here we go with the Alt accusations again. You’re pathetic.

People multibox ingame.
Ofc they do it here too.
Dont be naive.

You carpet wardec the forum with your accusations. You do not know who does or does not have forum alts. But it fits your narrative to accuse others of “foul play” of some kind to make yourself look better, nobel Salvos, the solo warrior. GTFO.

I think you are confusing me with someone else.

Atm you are the one making insulting accusations.
In the other thread its SP calling others alts.

I dont use forum alts. Do you?

My GTFO is a definitive. You are not worth wasting any more time on,

it would be a lot better place but that would mean they would lose money and see CPP is already a niche game so they can’t afford to lose all them subscriptions and it would just kill the Plex Market it would level the playing field a lot if they would take away multi boxing but financially CCP has put themselves in the corner and they could never do that now it would really kill null miners that use multiple accounts to get the work done that one guy could do in a couple days they doing a couple hours because they’re using for accounts it would level the playing field a lot of places it would help start to level the playing field in null CCP is too far committed into it now they’re not going to change that anytime soon because they make too much damn money

Depends on the change, making cynos a deployable for example or have citadels create cyno beacons (new module, service for example) will go a long way towards reducing necessary alt usage.

Not in the fleets I’m flying with, mostly roaming gangs. The charge and aggression management require active participation. Especially the jump destroyer is one of the best additions to the game since years, it let people combine the boosh role with boost easily, while keeping DPS.

True there are cases where they will be provided by individual pilots, sure. I can tell you that a lot of Wormhole PVP and Highsec PVP involves using them on an alt a lot of the time.

Having a ship / module that is able to spit out a cyno like a Interdictor’s bubble would be pretty sweet imo.

I removed a meme gen image and one reply quoting it. They do not belong here, this is not reddit.

If you want to fly 2 toons, sub 2 toons.

Its legit ■■■■ for newer players now than before, cos PLEX costs so much more than then.

It’s not about can you fly to characters at the same time I can do it I did it for a while it’s about Fair gameplay for people who can’t do it because they can’t afford two accounts to do that at the same time or people or people who just do not have the hardware to do it to run two accounts at the same time you have to think about Hardware they’re slick it’s a hard concept for some of you guys because you don’t live on a fixed income or anything like that

Well… you cannot make “fair gameplay” based on out of game factors.
I can’t afford or i don’t want to pay?
Fixed income or lazyness?

You can never tell for sure without proper investigation.

And even if you go this road you would have other things like internet connection (speed/latency) and other factors.
