How long does it take for the support service to resolve the issue of compensation for the lost ship? A simple question, there is no answer from support for three days. I need this ship now.

Your experts are probably lightyears ahead of me, but FWIW, a network-savvy friend of mine points out:

Also, due to some weaknesses in the IP protocols, itās possible to create whats known as an amplification attack. Sending specific packets (usually tiny) results in a reply of several Mb. This type of attack is more the norm these days.
On your map - most of the traffic coming out of South America is from one particular brand of router. Itās been building up over the past year, and the routers firmware isnāt updateable.ā

Chat is still broken, i canāt see my items in my hangars, canāt access corp hangars either and if i try to leave the station, it takes upwards of 30secs to actually leve the station, all the while i get a black screen and when i eventually see my ship, the game is really laggy. I just docked and gave up. Seriously regretting coming back to this gameā¦

The ship was lost in the Navy during the sansha invasion. Fit ship is very expensive. I spent all the isk on his fit and now. I canāt buy a new one.
Iām sure they will reimburse the ship, but they have a policy that doesnāt extend to any modules that were fitted to your ship that dropped in the wreck.

There IS no DDoS attack. Not according to the seven publically available DDoS monitoring sites available.
This correlates precisely with CCPās last update (not the minor patch).
CCP screwed the pooch on something (again) and the titmouse-brained fools they have running their network āsecurityā (apparently the idiots monitoring this forum think a ātitā is something obscene - itās a bird - with an brain about the size of an a cashew - I edited it to make it more clear what I was saying) canāt unscrew it and weāre left holding the bag, again.
Lost a weekend moon mining operation (wonāt get reimbursed for that or the weekās fuel that set it up). Lost two Ravens to massive (90 second) lag while rolling holes (might get reimburse for that in, oh, say December). Absolutely cannot risk any WH operations now because the game is unplayable if you must rely on prompt response from DSCAN and you must have fleet ops to operate safely (wonāt get reimbursed for that). Been attempting to get someone, anyone, to at least admit that thereās a problem and until 2:47 no one would (officially - GM Whiskers told me there was āan attackā two days ago which was when I started monitoring worldwide DDoS attack activity and found that there WAS none to speak of directed at London or Iceland).
This garbage is getting very, very old.
There needs to be an AUTOMATED response to this that freezes Omega account aging and a predictable reimbursement mechanism for other-than-ship losses.
The stations my corporation and the corporations of my alts operate have more costs in fuel than my ship losses will ever be and neither in the the February debacle nor any other has CCP taken responsility for THOSE losses when the game was unplayable for long stretches of time.
Thatās not entirely true.
I lost an entire mining fleet in the February debacle and I got every one of them back with almost all of the fit/rig stuff as well, all of my drones (which werenāt even in the ships), and all of my probes back minus some holes that I think corresponded with my insurance coverage.
Assuming you can provide them with a killmail and a reasonable time frame to search for any out-of-ship resources (drones, probes, MTUs, Mobile Depots and such), they will reimburse you.
It might be four months, but youāll get it all back - delivered to Jita or the station you specify.
My wild guess is that the persons behind the attacks are already banned and maybe theyāre attacking CCPs servers because they got banned. They might even have hired someone from China or Russia to do the attacks and paid in crypto. Itās nearly impossible to trace the origin of something like this.

I dunno about the majority but personally I have not been able to login since well over 24 hours now except for a couple of 2-3 minute unstable sessions. This makes me one of those not part of the majority of those players for whom the connection has been restored as described I guess. Iāve been kinda jealous seeing those 30k peeps online yesterday and envy those 20k still online now. Hanging in there, courage to all tech team at CCP. In you I believe.
