The services are looking better for the majority of players, but we continue to monitor the situation and work on sparse reports about login or in-game chat issues. Thank you for your understanding.

I don’t even bother reporting issues anymore. Last instance took damn near a month to actually be returned to a playable state. Right now all I am doing is logging in to claim the daily login crappy things and move the SP bar up. Then I click quit and go do something else. I have not logged in and actually played since I can’t rely on things that are normally relied on. “Am I still connected?”, “when I engage this, NPC, Player, Abyss site, will I stay connected long enough to finish?” “Is my D-Scan actually working?” “Is local actually updating?” The things that make this game playable are unreliable at the present time and their is no reliability to the service that is expected. If CCP actually had a system in place to restore players to a state they were in previous to loss, and that service were more immediate, maybe it would be ok to play. As it stands, you may get the stuff that did blow up restored, but items that “drop” or structure fuel, etc are just gone.

Maybe this lack of ability to play are actually part of the scarcity of resources they planned all along?

We will see in a few weeks if it’s ok to log in and actually do stuff, until then, the internet has plenty of other things to occupy my time.

Still getting disconnect every 15-20 min, everytime I try playing. I think a better framing would be ''a number of playes are still facing issues" OR just “we are still working on it” rather than ''issue is resolved for majority".

What you guys are doing is not easy, and we really respect your work, but the purpose of an update thread is lost if the admins and devs are not aware about the accessibility of the game.

Edit: and now it’s every 15-20 seconds

At 18:09 EVE time on 4-5-2020, I had my first abyssal disconnect. I was quickly able to FORCE CLOSE EVE (because nothing was responding) and log back in in time to save my ship.

How am I expected to use this service, especially since the current event is tied to such a thing that ANY WHISPER of connection issues causes complete losses. (Yes, I know we can get reimbursed, but it does take weeks).

I wonder if there is a common factor for those of us who can not connect. I’m US West (Century Link). Anyone else US West with the same ISP?

Yup same here, was playing for two hours without problem, then took a break to simulate some fit in a station, got disconnected and can’t relog.

Guess I should just be glad that it happened while I was actually in a station.
