Hey,
I just got a new PC (Windows 11) and I want to transfer my EVE data from my old PC (Windows 10).
Can I simply copy the EVE installation folder from the old machine to the new one?
My internet download speed is really slow, so I’d like to avoid re-downloading the whole game if possible.

I did this in January. I used the instructions on the EVE Univ wiki and adapted them to my needs.

In regard to their warning on Over Settings, I kept a link/copy of my personal overview settings in a private chat channel, in game.

I had no trouble with my upgrade.
Since there are quite some people having problems with EVE freezing on their new computers and latest Windows 11, i would not be so fast as to dismantle my old computer and drives before it is ensured that EVE runs fine on the new one…just a thought based on how important EVE might be for you.
