There is an effort to translate eve to spanish, portuguese, japanese, chinese, and a lot of others languages? In my view it is the worse barrier, besides learning curve, and it would be soften with translation too. I know that this effort is great and costly, but most of online games gained a lot of reach throughout the world by doing this. Probably CCP might have some of its costs already put in spreadsheets, but it might pay the costs.
Maybe its the most important thing to do after alpha clones.
