We have portrait backgrounds for each of the Big 4, as well as Upwell. How about letting us have a Trig background, also, so we can all show our love of triangles.
Here’s a mockup I had AI whip up for me. My thinking was a smooth background in the distinctive hue of Trig armour plating, with a Triglavian symbol “hologram” overlaid, with scanlines and chromatic aberration to make it pop a bit more. The centre is offset a little bit in order to not overly hide neither the character nor the logo.
Pretty cool idea…
Maybe make another one done up with mist and a couple of Trig silhouettes in the background, one to each side of the portrait…
Because they always do it in 3’s, right?

I also generated an image earlier showing what a portrait might look like with a Trig background. Well, if the game got an Unreal Engine remake. And sculptable hairs. And a hood-less Trig suit.
I reckon that may be too big of a thing to ask for, though.
Counterpoint 1: the Troika do not care if they have official CISC designation or DED representation.
Counterpoint 2: offering a Trig portrait background would allow unproven narodnya to larp as proven.

Counter-counterpoint: The portrait backgrounds are just nanoplasma screens showing whichever image we want in the background of our CONCORD capsuleer registry photo. It could be anything you want, and I’m sure both kybernauts and many foreign narodnya would want to use a symbol so widely known, respected, and feared, as the insignia of the collective.
How about SOE, Angel Cartel, Serpentis, Sansha, Guristas, etc. backgrounds? I don’t know why you would just bring up Trigs. It would also be nice to be able to flip the background images around horizontally and vertically.
I brought up Trigs because that’s the one I’m specifically interested in.
Getting other factions also would be nice.
