Thanks, if that picture is accurate to now then it won’t come out in my time zone. Will have to live vicariously through recordings of the event.
Out of curiosity, is there a switch somewhere to display this status description as two-liner instead of blotched together as one? Because this how I see it Or is it just a matter of distance? But I am pretty sure I was even closer than you
I mean, it may not start in your time zone, but I would guess there’s a pretty high chance it will still be going in your time zone no matter what it is. And probably the next couple times ones after it.
Save it? It needs to burn with all the other trash forced down our throats. highsec players should be in charge of highsec, Its as simple as that. The only reason it is anything but that is what we have already discussed at length in the thread. The dude asking about the text on screen in the image… i have no idea why my text in space is different than some… ill update this if i find out.
Its easier to defend the armor than the timer, so give up hope. Also gorups that weren’t involved before now want to get in on it now that they’re smelling a killmail
Imagine the uproar when the zkillboard don’t show the Keepstar!
Imagine if the node wasn’t reinforced and it lead to the loss of billions when the attacking fleet jumps in…

That would be funny. It kind of reminds me of M2-XFE. Although I don’t think people gave the Imperium enough credit for the victory. I’ve heard from multiple people that the attacking cyno ship either warped on grid unclaoked or got declocaked on grid before it cloaked up and positioned itself. I was never able to find anyone who posted a screenshot of this. I have talked to some line members who were in the battle and none of them could confirm this rumor, however they did confirm that the defenders were perfectly positioned to take out the attackers. The cyno was lit 6 km from some of the defending fleet. Heavy fighters, torpedos, and Void M all were able to sloooooowly unload on the first targets that arrived. If the defenders didn’t know where people were coming in, they’d probably have to use warp bookmarks, get a fleetmate in range of the incoming supers, and also kill any dictors that tried to slow them down instead of just unloading everything. So assuming the rumor that the cyno ship warped in uncloaked is true, the attacking fleet would lose billions even if the servers didn’t melt as everything would be sent in to a perfectly placed meatgrinder.
More to the point…is everyone going to be recorded on the killmail, as I recall another incident ( with a Sotiyo ) where the killmail was lost and CCP had to ‘recreate’ it several months later. I do hope the CCP server hamster is being well fed and is able to cope with Friday’s TTT onslaught.
During the From highsec with Love/Parabellum war it was a huge factor. We tried to jump in outnumbered to get the fight on… but loaded in slowly and couldn’t even use broadcasts under heavy TiDi. We lost probably 50+b before the fleet even got a broadcast lol. There was about 1200 people in system and it wasn’t reinforced like we had hoped after giving notice of the impending fight. I lost about 5b in two Paladins in the first of many engagements. Good times. I hope there’s an actual fight for the Keepstar and its looked back on like the last two stories.
I think some in AO got in on as many as 19 Paladin kills that night. I got 7 Paladins and 9 Typhons in the space of an hour or so. Glory days.
Any reason why Paladins were chosen for that engagement?
I presume the idea was they’d go into bastion mode, which gives them 320K EHP or so and a 25% optimal range bonus ( to over 235km )…allowing delivery of 500 DPS at 200km with Scorch.
But…they hadn’t planned on our FC being so skilled at herding and moving a fleet of Apocalypses ( about 40 of them ), and we just picked off the Paladins one by one. Even a bastion mode Paladin is no match for 40 Apocs. A small group of 6 of us then got assigned to halt the timer on the Sotiyo…so I was among the first and the last to fire at it. A few days later Parabellum destroyed all our war HQs, but by that time they were effectively a spent force.
It was pretty bad tidi…but not as bad as some make out. I guess running an RTX 3060 helps. Will have to see how that pans out with the TTT.
They said they learned how and why it didnt show up, so they can produce it quicker. Same with hellmars kill.
