Yesterday when I logged in and picked up my gifts, the last remaining gift was a large number of skill points. Today when I logged in, they weren’t there. wtf, ccp?

Why is it that every time I log out of the client, I have to force quit it?

Honestly the force quit on the client has got to be one of the most annoying bugs. I’ve tried a few things in an attempt to fix it, but I have yet to find a solution.
I assumed it was an issue mainly on High Sierra. Can confirm that altho I’ve seen the issue on Mojave and Catalina, it happens most often on High Sierra. Recently it’s been behaving better on Catalina that I’ve noticed
I’m on Mojave. I’ve found that if I click the red close button in the upper left corner of the main client window, I rarely have to force quit the application. It’s trying to quit from the menu that gives me problems, so I don’t do that any more.
