This is a total straw-man as has been explained many times in this thread.
Auto repeat on a module is not equivalent to aggressive mode on drones. Drones under the (now reverted) update still did auto repeat, they would continue to shoot their target till it died, not stop after a single shot.
Aggressive mode would be equivalent to parking your barge in a belt, and the lasers automatically target asteroids and mine them for you with just 1 key press for the entire belt. Or your guns automatically firing at the next target and the next etc.
Please stop coming up with stupid fallacies that are simply not comparable.
What makes your fallacy stupid is what I explained above. That it is not a comparable example you gave, because drones were being left with auto repeat. Just not auto aggression. Therefore to try and compare them like you did is a stupid idea.
If you want to propose serious ideas rather than stupid fallacies, I’ll actually discuss their merits. I respect opinions when they are based on facts &/or good logic.
How come the majority of the ships can fly without having to refuel? You can literally be AFK in your ship or flying all day long. I suggest that ships have to refuel at stations the same way Tesla cars have to. And if you run out of fuel midway you have to pod yourself, fly to the station, get another ship, and fly back and refuel the old one.
Follow me for more bright ideas.
Edit: the CCP guy said yesterday he will tell us more today, but I cannot find it anywhere. Any tips where is “today’s” post?
it was a reference to not knowing when exactly the reversion would come, and that he’d have more information when this change would be reverted “tomorrow.”
But since the change ended up being reverted the day after he posted, he probably figured that was good enough of an indicator. I can understand why he didn’t bother to give an update since the main purpose of what the update would be about was already done.
You are assuming that drones are currently considered by CCP to be in a balanced stat with your argument there.
If drones are considered OP when taking aggressive mode into account, there is no need to give them something back for its removal
So Eve doesn’t demand significant amounts of TIME and dedication to be played ? (making the isk to fly spaceships in a video game all about spaceships …)
Just like any other game/activity/hobby.
So, we optimize the time to do it in regards to our personal lives, and to have the means to do so ingame. Those changes messed the latter up, making many seriously reconsider whether to drop the ball.
Sorry to some people, time may not be a problem, but to many of us, it is.
