to have PvP players must have ISKs, you reduce bounties in nullsec, you changed minig so ships become much expensive, and you fight with AFK ihstar/gila. But not with bots. Bot users always will have advatage against legit players. Burn in hell ccp. I always used EvE and CCP as an example how MMORPG should be. But last changes makes me your hater.
You disable auto attack for drones, and wish more pew pew activity. But you failed:
No afk ishtar in the anomaly
No isks
No ship for pew pew
No content
Nothing to do for “true PvP pilots” in nullsec
Empty ESS’s
Nothing to defend
In system where I farming was 7-8 pilots online (ishtars, motherships, battleships, carriers, dreads)
Now it is empty with 76% risk modifier. How we can raise this modifier? Ask pilots to visit that system for fight? And now you “fix” drones. LOL.
You can set 10 isk bounty for each NPC and bots still have advantage. Stupid reforms. Think about that already not dear CCP.
Yes, paying THEIR subs with GENERATED ISK, keeping THEIR game aflot. ■■■■ everyone else and the economy.
New players who don’t even have a sub yet will just quit when they learn they require multiboxing to be competitive.
Mining definitely is low effort, and that’s why I like it, so the disgruntled AFK ratters are welcome to join in High Sec.
If mining was changed to be more effort for the current isk, I’d just run missions, which I’d also advise for people who just want to generate isk.
You can’t have an inflated economy that requires multiboxing to afford the costs of living and expect new players to stick around and enjoy being poor.
On the whole I don’t mind this change because when I rat I do it in a single Ishtar and I’m in the habit of targetting what I want to kill anyway.
I can see this affecting people who multi-box afk ratters though. I imagine it’s motivation for many of them to go ahead and start botting, as is all of this “austerity”.
Assist and guard should work just fine, they just won’t respond to NPC aggression, player aggression to and from in this scenario should still work just fine
Noraus doesn’t care because the bots are easy to reprogram: Lock target, emulate button press F, wait for target to die, emulate button press on next target, rinse and repeat.
What this instead does is to require actual players to press more buttons because CCP is not competent enough to inhibit botting. Fight now I can leave my Loki drones to take care of some not locked frigates while my guns murder cruisers and up. This won’t be a thing anymore and instead of enjoying the content, I have to micro manage even more menial things. I remember a time when CCP said “we don’t want more busywork” not so long ago. Everyone laughed over this joke.
LOL, so what about people that did sites in missile and gun ship’s? LOL just becuase you got used to being lazy doesn’t mean its the only way to play eve online.
Probably because there’s more to life then sitting and playing eve all day?
Don’t get me wrong, eve is very consuming, but there’s no need to make it all consuming. Not healthy
While you’re at it, could we make mining drones act similar and force the player to reengage their drones each cycle? That’ll teach those dirty afk miners.
Having multiple accounts afk ratting for you to reduce hours needed to have fun in a game is not the right answer either thou, best would be core changes in eve online itself, like maybe reduced material cost for weaker ships in blue print’s not including capital.
