Update on Asset Safety values for Supers & Titans

I’m not sure what you mean. My post was referring to the fact that anyone putting a super onto the field likely either already has a replacement, or will be SRP’ed by their alliance if they lose it.

OK. Sorry if I misunderstood. With the crazy stuff that was just suggested to me about living Eve 24/7 to be able to play, I thought someone was now saying being in a Keep meant I was willing to lose the ship to combat. Sorry, I misunderstood.

Some of you live in a reality all your own and can’t comprehend that Eve players have different lifestyles. I paid for Eve for years, and didn’t stop paying, because I wanted to come back to the game. So I have years of being in Eve. But I play for fun… not as a job. Someone who runs a corporation might treat it like a job. I don’t. But if CCP ever hires you guys who have nothing but Eve time for RL, hey, I’ll move on.

Ok, but we aren’t talking about casual players here, we are talking about people who have played the game for hundreds or thousands of hours to be able to afford a Super or Titan. People who have those are not casual players…

The discussion is totally moot.

No argument in the world will ever change his mind, he feels entitled that he has worked hard for all his stuff and nobody should ever be able to challenge or even destroy it without his explicit consent. He basically wants to have his assets safe like in HighSec and at the same time all the industrial and PvE income sources of a developed nullsec.

And others are mean no-life nerds if they tell him that this kind of carebearism is destroying the game itself long-term because if all that stockpiled stuff cannot be destroyed any more, the blocks reach levels of replacements that any fight is totally meaningless as it would be an endless grind through ever more replacements.

We absolutely need to come back to a system of a few indestructable but conquerable key-outposts per region or maybe 1 conquerable NPC station per constellation that could be used as staging point. And whoever has sov can restrict docking there and use it as main point of defense. And if that one falls, the constellation falls. And then Upwell-Asset Safety is restricted to a small container (~50.000m³) for Alphas and a large container (~500.000m³) for Omegas. So your highest value items can be saved for a fresh start, Capitals, Supercaps and huge quantities of resources either have to be evacuated or fall into the enemies hands.

Actually, I respect the rules the CCP has set, and I object to the crackpot schemes some here are advocating that say we should lose it all. So don’t get it twisted.

Any updates ?

What are you expecting an update on?

Assuming the reimbursement for overpaying on asset safety, I’ve not received anything back either.

Hi

Is there any update anytime soon. Many of us still waiting your action. Month has passed and not much action has taken.

Is math really that hard CCP?

They are still drunk from the holidays.

Can we let them dock in stations yet? They are all in station at Odebein any way. Seems like they fit after all.

Hey all! Sorry for the slow responses over the holidays. The reimbursements will be coming in the next few days, will post when they are all completed. Thank you for the patience!

Dear CCP Swift,

first of all, I would like to thank you for this solution.

Allow me to ask about the other issue i posted here and where you said you will look into, which was about 25% instead the expected 15% for pulling out a Keepstar Hull+Core from Asset Safety. The ticket 2563262 was now updated again with “There were no errors with the Keepstar Asset Safety recovery tax calculation.” Can you confirm that satement?

Kind regards

Thank you for paying the tax.

I have just one question.
I retrieved two ships subject to the Asset Safety tax using two separate accounts that are linked to my account.
In this case, will you reimburse/pay the tax for each account separately?
