Dear FC Art/UI team,
The ship information window needs to be addressed, even after the changes made, and maybe a proper preview option needs to brought back.
Currently, when it is in compact mode you can only view the ship when the SKINs menu is selected. You have to increase the width of the window to see the ship at any decent scale like so…
However, when the window is widened, it makes all the other details stretched and becomes hard to read…
By simply moving the ship preview to the other side, or having a separate slide-out preview (similar to how the character sheet can slide out) the ship information window becomes much nicer…
I know the simple fix is you just not use compact mode. But if compact mode is turned off, the side menu needs to be static and not constantly popping out each time you hover over it. This is an option in the Opportunities window, just put it into the ship information window…
Additionally, as a graphic designer, and playing EVE in 2026, this just irks me…
