Use of an orca for a single player without alts

Frostpacker has many skill extractor weeks that disallow it’s minions from progressing into a ship class that would be costly to Frostpacker until such ships are either self manufactured or straight out purchased.

Frostpacker holds only two characters that are allowed to train over 5.5m sp.

I almost have what I need, though the reaction polymers need to be purchased.

Frostpacker has access to a well trained Skiff pilot.

You have no sense of humor sometimes. :scream:

Must display a serious side inside this part of the forum where the channel description is what I like most about New Eden.

Fair enough. It did make me think though, about all the mining skills my accts/toons have. I don’t hate mining, but if I want to go to sleep, I’ll just go to bed. That being said, I don’t think I’ll sell them off. You just never know in this game…

Estimated Skiff pilot with solid drone/mining would need around 8m sp.

That little? Not even worth extracting.

Oh I am a rookie at this, like with this character I even keep him under 50m and more like 35-40 I start extracting again down to like 25m (currently at 36.5 for the 2nd time)

Besides the way I am seeing the Procure / Skiff pilots is 57 blocks vs 80 blocks per hour difference.

I’ll throw in my two cents. I mine in a orca. Sure you can mine more in an exhumer or barge. But I’m lazy. I drop mining drones, align to station and watch local. That ore hold is massive. With t2 shield bursts and proper fit i can tank trig patrols most ganks all day. I have lost drones due to carelessness, but it hold a bunch of extras too. But if you are the isk/hr kind of person don’t mine in an orca, it is a lazy pilots mining ship.

If you’re at the computer, actually playing the game, a retriever is a lazy pilots mining ship. An Orca is just an opportunity cost.
