Whenevwr making a change to something involving a subjective aesthetic like fonts, in which you know some people will like it and some will hate it…
ALWAYS, introduce that new feature as a setting that can be changed by the users. Developer 101, come on.
I just find the style of (CCPs) commenting, when they bother to, very patronizing. Like you ive seen about 4 people like have said they like the font and tons that say they dont. There way of speaking to the players is almost arrogant in its way, are all game companies like this?
At what meeting did someone sit down and say “this font here, f**k all wrong with it but lets change it anyway”
did you guys fire your bug testing team or are they still using old screens from the early 2000’s this font ya for the love of the dark gods fix it i use a 4k screen if it hurts to read i and many others will just not play
The new UI font are trash. To much bold and no effects on the right click menu in space !

So the new null sec with the trigs is that a permanent change? I personally believe it is but a friend of mine refuses to accept it. Could a dev confirm this so I can direct him to this or am I wrong? @CCP_Dopamine
99 players: The font is bad, my eyes/head hurts, it is blurry and hard to read.
1 player: I like the new font.
CCP response: “some of you really like the change”
I play on 4k and it is awful.
My suspicion is that it is looking very different on different displays, with different Windows and EvE settings. What I am seeing, I don’t think anybody could be complaining about. Looks perhaps slightly larger and crisper than before for me, where many people seem to be experiencing smaller and blurrier.
IMO the issue is failing to test it on a wide enough variety of configurations before releasing. In particular, I suspect they didn’t test it on a system with DPI scaling enabled.

If you’re going to change something like the font, let the players choose their own font. That Can Not be hard to do. Options are great, you making choices for players and then telling them hey 1 out of 500 of you like it, so too bad. O ya, that’s how you run a company.
The mining changes are unwanted and too extreme.
We all know that dev assets at CCP are limited, but I have to question their resource division decisions by management. Was there a department that was sitting around and eating fermented shark all day that wasn’t being utalized and heads higher decided they should work on anything, even if it wasn’t warrented? How many other problems have been reported to CCP and are still not being addressed in regards to OI or other issues that the same group that gave us the font change could have worked on? If they were under utalized, then temporarily reassign to a similar group or at least ask the players what are their biggest issues with the current OI.
I bet it wasn’t font size and style. (Well, before now I mean.)
this is already bad, it should be acceptable on all screens. Which was the case with old UI.
Hence the question - why screw with it ?
The font doesn’t matter to me, Ore is important for me.
The new font appears blurry to me. No matter how I adjust the UI interface, or font size(small, medium, large), or even the chat window’s font size, the font is hard for me to visually focus on. As if the font is constantly fuzzy.
Please give us an option to return to the old font style.

CCPLEASE can we have the OPTION about the BGM playing in stations? It was just a few months ago CCP had a very popular stream about the game’s music because many of us DO like the music! 
Sure in null/lowsec zones it’s a different situation, but there’s a lot of people who don’t live in nullsec and wormholes - a lot of people who don’t hate the BGM in station.
And also fix that nonsense with the industry panel suppressing the music volume for several seconds after every minor panel interaction! (open, close, select or use blueprint)
Rather than doing all that, just revert to the old font which NO ONE had a problem with… duh
I agree, I would love to speak to a member of the team about this font issue. Particularly pertaining common readability and “Dislexia”. This is already an important established subject, luckily, has already been hashed out and I really hope we can draw attention to it, in getting a universally easier to read font, (Like COURIER or ARIAL) I was one of those people who’s dislexic brain reeled in horror witnessing the implemented font. I have adjusted text size in chat and scaling… an option of font type or like stated previous an option to use the previous font, would be very helpful in a manner pertaining to accessibility vs dislexia at the least. ~L.B.
If the devs allocated to font changes no one asked for had of instead coded in the ability to express to corp members in chat as some form of tag etc that one is AFK, that would likely have been met with a rousing applause
I think the ores needed more minerals if anything. Now that you guys have completely screwed up mining and slowed progress even more than the snails crawl it was at, I would like a pro rated refund on the 1 year subscription I just wasted my money on.
