can we please have a yay or nay on the Drone Assist issue? will this be reverted or will it be staying?
What should I hunt now? I went roaming today and I didnāt see any subcap ratting. There wasnāt even ess to steal because no one was ratting in all of the systems I passed through. Iām kinda lost on what to do on the PvP side tbh. I thought that the changes would give me more content but I unironically canāt find it.
This is weak concern trolling at best.
At worst, itās a fundamental misunderstanding of how players adapt to new changes. Things donāt happen overnight.
The change just went live. Itāll take a couple of days or so for people to adapt and figure out the next best alternative to the old krabbing changes. From then, itāll be a week before that change is propogated through the community.
It took about that time for people to switch over from VNIs to Myrmidons and Dominixes. Iād expect some transition time now.
Iām not even troll posting. The change went live yesterday sure, but weāve known that this change was coming a few weeks ago. So I felt that expecting krabs to already have a plan was not unreasonable.

What you mean to say is lock up targets, engage, atl tab to your alt, lock up targets and engage and do this for around 50 times on each toon or depends on how many NPC waves you get?

Pro tip: Like 80% of the playbase doesnāt pay attention to patch notes or devblogs.
Only a couple of loudmouths and crazies on the forums, twitter, and r/eve.
Most of them log in and find somethingās changed and then cry about it without bothering to actually read, much less anticipate and plan ahead.

yeah, we KNEW that auto drone aggression was going away. very few people have a problem with that.
when the patch went live, we discovered that weād also lost Drone Assist functionality in both PvP and PvE. This came as a very rude shock to a lot of folk as it wasnāt mentioned anywhere in the patch notes, or anywhere else that people can point me to. As yet, we have had no word from CCP whether this change will be staying.
Drone Auto Aggro and Drone Assist are two very different things.
So the drone nerf is getting reverted as well?

Jita local might actually be useful if thatās the case.
Or you can learn about auto targetting systems, or use the Inflight Auto Target back option in the Esc menu, under general settings.
Now you can enjoy alt tabbing and pressing a single command per client. o7

almost no-one here is arguing against the Drone Aggro changes. these are near universally regarded as A Good Thingā¢.
Itās Drone Assist being removed, without warning, thatās upsetting people.
